JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associates’ main responsibility is to support the daily operations of the warehouse facility. Works under the supervision of a warehouse manager or supervisor and performs various tasks to ensure the efficient handling and storage of warehouse material.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loading outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles and unloading incoming shipments from trucks or containers. This requires physical strength and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Responsible for receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming shipments to verify their accuracy and condition. This includes checking for damages, recording discrepancies, and properly storing the items received.
- Work closely with other warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. This may involve coordinating tasks, sharing information, and assisting colleagues when needed.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by organizing and labeling items, conducting regular stock checks, and updating inventory systems. This helps ensure that products are readily available and easily accessible when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by arranging items in designated storage areas, sweeping and removing debris, and following safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Attention to detail, highly organized, multi-tasking, continuous follow-through, Knowledge in floor products preferred, but not necessary.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to safely lift, carry, move, and handle materials throughout the workday in accordance with job requirements.
- Bilingual a plus! (Spanish, Portuguese)
- Possess basic math skills.
- Skilled in using a forklift, preferred verifiable forklift certification.
- Legal work authorization requirements
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Mobility: Frequently required to move throughout the warehouse
- Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Positioning: May be required to position oneself to inspect, including stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and exchange accurate information with customers and team members, including in busy or noisy environments.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
Warehouse/Facility: May be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments (heat and cold), moving mechanical parts, vibration, and elevated noise levels.
