Position Summary
Purflux Group, Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and finished goods. The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production requirements, and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Unload, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with company safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems and cycle counting activities.
- Stage materials for production and ensure timely replenishment of production areas.
- Perform routine inventory audits and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Assist with other warehouse, logistics, and production-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and climb as needed.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
