Job Description
Job Summary:
  • The Warehouse Associate is responsible for inventory, helping with scheduling of shipments, loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments, keeping the warehouse tidy and organized, and supporting assembly operations. 

Reporting:
  • The Warehouse Associate reports to the Production Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure outbound pallets are accurately labeled, wrapped, documented and loaded.
  • Verifies inbound receipts from packing slips.
  • Stages, moves, and organizes inventory in the primary and secondary warehouse.
  • Informs operations manager of overages, shortages, or damages.
  • Control inventory accuracy and keep ERP inventory updated.
  • Create and print packing slips. 
  • Delivers inbound packages to the appropriate teammate/area.
  • Supports assembly and tool and die teams by retrieving or supplying products when required.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Operates all forklift equipment, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Complies with all safety standards and reports safety violations to immediate supervisor.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1 year experience 
  • Experience with sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks. 
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds. 
  • Attention to detail concerning housekeeping, record keeping, and inventory control.
  • Diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.  
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Proactively promotes safety.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.

Measures of Performance:
  • Safety.
  • Inventory and Cycle Count Accuracy.
  • Shipment Accuracy.

Working Conditions:
  • This position will work in an office and shop environment. The shop and warehouse office is air-conditioned with moderate exposure to dust and noise; the warehouse is not. At times work will be performed outside or in areas of the building without HVAC in fluctuating temperatures.
