Job Description

RoofingDirect.com is looking for a full-time Temp to Hire Warehouse Associate who will make a difference in our daily operations. Headquartered out of Meridian, ID. A Warehouse Associate accurately selects products and prepares website orders for shipment. You will process inbound and outbound small parcels & freight; move, load, receive, locate, relocate, stack and count product. This position requires the ability to work with other departments including co-workers as well.

 

Warehouse Associate (Temp to Hire)

Key Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Pull, pack, and ship orders with precision
  • Receive and organize inbound and outbound products
  • Stock and maintain inventory
  • Organize warehouse flow for continually improved flow
  • Daily cleaning and process maintenance
  • Using various computer programs to enter products
  • Climb up and down ladders and stairs to get products
  • Be able to operate a picker (stand up forklift)

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older required
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Willingness to be trained and operate a standup forklift
  • Ability to communicate in English using written and verbal skills
  • Conduct yourself with honesty & integrity
  • Basic understanding of simple math, written instructions, and the ability to complete forms and necessary paperwork
  • Cleanliness and organization
  • Lift at least 30 lbs. at a time
  • Ability to crouch, bend, twist in warehouse environment
  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Warehouse experience a plus
