Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Verita Telecommunications

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate at Verita Telecommunications supports daily warehouse operations by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of telecommunications materials and equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring technicians and project teams have the tools and inventory needed to successfully complete installs and service work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries of telecom equipment including fiber optic cables, routers, switches, and hardware
  • Pick, pack, and stage materials for field technicians and project deployments
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
  • Organize and store materials to ensure efficient retrieval and safe handling
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation
  • Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Verita safety standards and warehouse procedures
  • Keep warehouse clean, organized, and operationally efficient
  • Work closely with operations, purchasing, and field teams to meet project timelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of warehouse experience (telecom or construction preferred)
  • Familiarity with telecom materials (fiber, coax, network equipment) is a plus
  • Experience with inventory tracking systems or handheld scanners
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Forklift certification is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of fiber optic equipment and telecom infrastructure
  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, inventory software)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills
