Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Verita Telecommunications

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate at Verita Telecommunications supports daily warehouse operations by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of telecommunications materials and equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring technicians and project teams have the tools and inventory needed to successfully complete installs and service work.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries of telecom equipment including fiber optic cables, routers, switches, and hardware
Pick, pack, and stage materials for field technicians and project deployments
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
Organize and store materials to ensure efficient retrieval and safe handling
Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation
Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) as needed
Ensure compliance with Verita safety standards and warehouse procedures
Keep warehouse clean, organized, and operationally efficient
Work closely with operations, purchasing, and field teams to meet project timelines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of warehouse experience (telecom or construction preferred)
Familiarity with telecom materials (fiber, coax, network equipment) is a plus
Experience with inventory tracking systems or handheld scanners
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Forklift certification is a plus

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of fiber optic equipment and telecom infrastructure
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, inventory software)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong communication and time management skills
