Description

Varied Shifts - Monday through Sunday 

Responsible for assisting in a variety of Warehouse duties, such as; shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, filling purchase orders, tracking orders, verifying and reconciling the multiple orders to their respective invoices, month end inventories etc.

 Also responsible for delivering incoming and outgoing shipments for Multiple Departments, when applicable.

 Assists in ensuring that the Warehouse is kept neat, clean and organized and in adherence to all Company Policies, Departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) SNHD Health Department and OSHA Regulations.

 

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

·         Reports to the Warehouse Manager

·         Verify that product quantities and case sizes are correctly invoiced for the respective products

·         Unpack and examine incoming shipments

·         Report to the Warehouse Manager any damaged items, product shortages, discrepancies or other issues

·         Verify and check mark invoices ensuring everything was received as ordered

·         Unload pallets and place in appropriate stock locations

·         Deliver packages or other items requested to departments, when applicable

·         Pull and/or move product requests and load on carts as needed

·         Maintain the correct Product Par Levels on shelves

·         Check daily all Walk-In Refrigerator and Freezer temperatures are in compliance to SNHD regulations

·         Wear and/or use personal protective equipment as instructed, when applicable

·         Assist with monthly ending inventory

·         Keep workplace neat, clean and organized in adherence with Company Policies, Departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) SNHD Health Department and OSHA Regulations.

·         Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

 

·         Dependable attendance required

·         Ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and Company Policies

·         Ability to understand and follow the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor’s directives

·         Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet deadlines

·         Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere

·         Quick learner, open and able to adapt to new tasks and processes

·         Professional, prompt and courteous communication with all other Departments and Vendors

·         Ability to learn how to correctly operate an Electric Pallet Jack, Hand Truck and Forklift required.

 

 

AGE and GAMING:

 

18 years of age or above / Southern Nevada Health Card

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Computer skills such as in Email (Microsoft Outlook), Excel, and Word preferred

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

 

Ability to read and understand a variety of instructions in either written or oral form in English.                                       

   Ability to respond to common inquiries regarding the Warehouse operations.             

Bilingual in English-Spanish a plus but not required. 

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Commensurate knowledge of weights and measurements (i.e., ounces, pounds inches, feet, centimeters, meters etc.) as related to Warehouse shipping and receiving operations.  

REASONING ABILITY:

 

Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.

Requires the ability to understand and follow policies and standard operating procedures and be adept and proactive in problem solving.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the Warehouse operational goals.
