Description
- Loads product onto delivery trucks by hand or using material moving equipment in a manner to minimize breakage of product in transit using a pallet jack or forklift
- Collecting and transferring paperwork between locations
- Fueling and washing transfer truck
- Verifies load accuracy per load sheet
- Maintains appropriate rotation of all product while loading to ensure quality
- Maintains cleanliness levels in the warehouse area; including all loading areas and the C.E.W.
- Completes breakage record and submits to the inventory department daily, or as needed
- Performs repack and breakage duties as needed
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse and/or forklift experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Valid Driver’s license (Class A CDL preferred) and good driving record
- Fork lift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Able to work independently, with little supervision
- Basic math and reading skills
- Attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move or lift various case stock, up to 30 lbs continuously, up to 170 lbs rarely
- Ability to frequently walk, stand; use hands to lift, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear; sit occasionally
Working Conditions/Environment
- Works in indoor warehouse conditions frequently; works in cooler rarely and for short periods
- May be required to work extended hours
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday approximately 12:00 am-10:00am Shuttle from Menomonie to Johnson Creek and back to Menomonie
Requirements
-Must obtain a class A CDL within 60 days of employment. (If the candidate doesn’t have one already)
Wages with a CDL would be $26-28/hr
Wages without a CDL would start at $23.50/hr
Plus the $2 shift premium
