Nature of Work
Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products to job sites. Operate construction equipment and vehicles. Responsible for general warehouse maintenance and other housekeeping duties as required by Supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Coordinate with other departments to organize deliveries to job sites or other locations.
- Fulfill tool and equipment requisitions and package for shipment.
- Record all inventory changes (incoming and outgoing) in tools, materials, and consumables using tool tracking software.
- Work with delivery driver to coordinate the transport of stored items from warehouse to plant or pick-up items from several locations for shipment.
- Inspect and restock returned tools and equipment.
- Assist Warehouse Manager by preparing parcels for mailing.by weighing and securely packaging for shipment.
- Inspect incoming tools and equipment for damages.
- Facilitate return of damaged tools and equipment to vendors for repair and/or recalibration.
- Perform daily/monthly inspections of work vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and equipment.
- Maintain ability to gain access high security job locations.
- Promote the company safety culture and safety awareness throughout the company, projects, or office.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record which, per Company’s vehicle policy, allows operation of a company vehicle.
- Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.

Education
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience
- 6+ months or more of related work experience required.
- Other technical experience such as military, public service, on the job training programs, etc. may meet this requirement as determined by local management
Physical Demands and Working Environment
- Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
- Significant climbing and balancing
- Significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
- Generally, the job requires 5% sitting, 60% walking, and 35% standing
- Occasional time spent walking on construction sites.
- This position will be required to use a ladder and work at tall heights (i.e. roof top, access ladders, scissor-lift, scaffolding)
- Safety-sensitive position that requires extreme focus and attention to safety hazards and safety protocols.
