Korum Ford, located in Puyallup, WA, is seeking a skilled and experienced Warranty Administrator with a strong background in working with Ford or Lincoln dealerships. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing warranty claims efficiently while ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures.
Pay Range: $29.75 to $38.50
Targeting Hiring Range: $29.75 to $33.25 per hour
Responsibilities
- Process and submit warranty and service contract claims accurately in accordance with Ford, Lincoln, and the company's guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with service departments to verify warranty coverage and resolve any claim discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of all warranty activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Communicate with manufacturers and dealers to address warranty issues and facilitate claim approvals.
- Stay up to date with changes in warranty policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Reviews the Work in Process (WIP) related to warranty report and service contract services for the Service Advisors monthly and provides information to the Service Lane Manager.
- Coordinates and tracks Courtesy Vehicles, shuttle, and/or rental cars for warranty customers. Collects and submits monthly claims for rental reimbursements and shuttle use reimbursements.
- Reviews and maintains warranty and third-party service contract payments, and related schedules, and submits reports monthly to the Accounting Department for review.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warranty Specialist or Administrator, preferably within a Ford or Lincoln dealership environment.
- Strong understanding of Ford and Lincoln warranty processes, policies, and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under deadlines.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
