SALARY:  DOE

REPLACING OR ADDITION: 

POSITION STATUS:  Regular Full-Time, FLSA NON-EXEMPT

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Works under the maintenance lead to accomplish necessary painting assignments throughout the property's buildings. Responds to work orders and accomplish tasks in a timely manner. Performs other duties as required. Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and be cleared by the gaming center's insurance carrier to drive company vehicles.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Must be knowledgeable in the various paint applications. 

Must be knowledgeable of various painting duties, including patching, wallpapering, etc. 

Must demonstrate safe use of various hand tools, and power tools required for jobs. 

Must use proper tools and exercise good safety practices.

Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Will assist in maintenance projects at various other tribal enterprises as directed.

Performs other duties as required.

Drives gaming center vehicles and operates forklifts. 

Will assist in maintenance projects at various other tribal enterprises as directed.

Required to attend scheduled safety meetings and understand the safe operation of all vehicles and power equipment.

Must be able to work in a casino environment.

Must be able to perform active physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Must be able to obtain/maintain a State/Tribal Gaming License.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum 2 years of painting experience.
