Do you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping production running smoothly? We're looking for a Weekend Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing) to join our team in Youngsville, NC.
This is a weekend shift position working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00am – 5:00pm.
In this role, you'll maintain and repair production equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and help keep our manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.

More About the Job
The Weekend Shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations. This position performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots equipment issues, manages maintenance work orders, and works closely with the Maintenance Manager to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and install production equipment, including robotic machinery and fusion cutting jet saws
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues and complete repairs promptly
- Create, manage, and close maintenance work orders accurately and on time
- Communicate equipment downtime and maintenance needs to management
- Complete detailed shift handoffs through written logs and verbal communication
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure equipment is operating safely and meets company standards
- Assist with inventory management for maintenance parts and supplies
- Make recommendations to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide emergency maintenance support and operate company vehicles when required
- Perform other maintenance and facility support duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 23 years of age with a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical, industrial maintenance, or related experience
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
- Stone industry experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
- Forklift experience preferred
- Willingness to work overtime or respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
- Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, humidity, dust, and noise levels
- Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and safety footwear
