Welder- Night Shift

This Welder will be based at the Cleves location. The hours are Monday – Thursday from 3pm-1:00am - but overtime may be required.
 
JOB SUMMARY:  Under the direction of the Lead Welder, the Welder is responsible for moving between production assignments, MIG welding, and fabricating various metals for production.
 
Job Duties
  • Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
  • Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals using MIG welding processes.
  • Reads and comprehends blueprints and welding process specifications when necessary.
  • Fit up complicated but standard structures and weldments involving a considerable number of parts and details.
  • Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
  • Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.
  • Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Candidate Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • MIG welding experience is preferred.
  • Experience using measuring tools including tape measures and calipers.
  • Experience operating a jib crane preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret routers, blueprints, drawings, and machine sketches preferred.
