Job Description

Welder – 1st Shift (Full-Time)

Cylindro Mfg. LLC is a growing manufacturer of equipment for the material handling industry. We take pride in building high-quality products and an even stronger team. We are currently seeking a Welder to join our talented crew on 1st shift, Monday through Friday.

About the Role

As a Welder at Cylindro Mfg. LLC, you will work with structural steel using MIG welding techniques. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up your welding machine and workspace, and ensuring accurate measurements. When welding work is limited or extra resources are required, you will support the team by assisting with mechanical assembly and general manufacturing tasks. While prior welding experience is preferred, it is not required for candidates with relevant training or education. A welding certificate is not necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on structural steel components
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Measure and prepare materials for welding
  • Set up and maintain welding equipment and workspace.
  • Assist with mechanical assembly and general shop duties when welding work is limited or extra resources are required.
  • Follow safety protocols and quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Skills Needed

  • MIG welding (basic to advanced)
  • Blueprint reading
  • Measuring and layout
  • Equipment setup and maintenance
  • Attention to detail and safety

Knowledge Required

  • Basic understanding of welding processes and materials
  • Familiarity with structural steel fabrication
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards

  • Apply welding techniques to meet quality and structural standards
  • Follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Adapt to new tasks and learn quickly
