Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to apply precise tack welds on small aluminum components. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and the capability to read and interpret blueprints and process sheets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-precision TIG welding and tack welding on aluminum parts
  • Use measurement tools such as micro-height gauges and calipers to verify dimensions
  • Lay out, fit, and tack parts and assemblies per blueprint specifications
  • Review and follow detailed process sheets and assembly instructions
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a professional environment
  • Properly use and maintain all required PPE
  • Follow all safety and training requirements related to chemical and shop hazards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform assigned tasks reliably on 2nd shift

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience performing TIG welding and tack welding on aluminum components.
  • Proficiency using precision measurement tools, including micro-height gauges and calipers.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and repeatability
  • Willingness to reliably perform assigned tasks on 2nd shift.
