Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder / Ironworker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, and welding structural steel and metal components on various construction sites. Your expertise in welding techniques, blueprint interpretation, and mechanical fabrication will ensure the integrity and safety of our projects. Duties

• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and gas metal arc welding to join metal components with precision
• Follow all safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry standards such as AWS (American Welding Society) codes & ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) standards
• Assist in the preparation of materials for welding or assembly by cutting, grinding, or soldering as needed
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication shop projects as well as onsite construction tasks to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW welding techniques; experience with welding preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools
• Knowledge of rigging procedures and crane operation safety practices
• Certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) or equivalent is highly desirable
• Prior experience working in a fabrication shop environment or on construction sites involving metal structures is preferred
• Strong safety awareness with adherence to OSHA standards; forklift certification is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately under supervision
