Responsibilities
- Perform Mig and Tig on welding steel and aluminum sign components
- Fabricate sign structures according to blueprint drawings
- Cut and fit material using saws , shears ,brakes and other shop equipment
- Inpsect finished welds quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Measuring, cutting, grinding, tack welding and welding steel components.
- Applicant must be physically fit as this position requires dexterity and a lot of standing and bending and lifting
Compensation can be based on related skills and experience.($23.70 up to $24.70 plus .25 premium per hour for a valid welding certificate.
Qualifications
- Valid certification in 47.1 and 47.2
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable , punctual , and safety-conscious
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
