Job Description

The Welder Level 2 plays a crucial role in fabricating, assembling, and welding components used in the oil and gas industry. This position requires a skilled individual with a strong background in welding techniques, precision work, and adherence to safety protocols.

Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises
 

Skills
Certification in welding techniques such as AWS or equivalent.
Proficient in various welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
Knowledge of metallurgy, materials, and welding codes and standards relevant to the oil and gas industry.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in welding is preferred.
Proven experience at least 3 years as a Welder Level 2 in an oil and gas machine shop or related industry.
