To continue to provide excellent customer service for our customers, we are seeking a motivated Yard Laborer to assist with daily yard operations, primarily focused on safely unloading sand and cement deliveries and maintaining an organized, safe work environment. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely unload sand and cement deliveries using appropriate equipment.

  • Inspect incoming materials to ensure proper quantity and quality.

  • Maintain yard organization, ensuring all materials are properly stored and accessible.

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.

  • Repair hoses and keep accurate inventory of supplies.

  • Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards or equipment issues.

  • Operate rail tugs to rail carts to unload.

  • Assist with loading outbound materials and other general yard tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions year-round.

  • Strong attention to detail and safety.

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor yard environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.

  • Requires standing, bending, lifting, pushing & pulling up to 50 lbs, and performing manual labor for extended periods.
