Description

HILLS Properties has an exciting full-time opportunity to add a Yardi and Business Software Administrator to our Information Technology team!
 

The Yardi and Business Software Administrator is responsible for the full Yardi software environment and will work closely with the IT and Accounting Teams to provide technical assistance and support the quality, operations, and management of the Yardi software infrastructure and supporting systems.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Yardi system administrator and subject matter expert, providing technical support and troubleshooting across all levels of the organization
  • Manage and maintain Yardi integrations with third-party systems (e.g., banking, payables, procurement, leasing, or reporting platforms), ensuring data flows accurately between platforms
  • Manage ETL imports related to new property setup, accounting processes, and other business needs
  • Partner with Accounting and Property Management teams to support Yardi-related workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems align with operational needs
  • Routinely audit Yardi and related systems for user access, permissions, and licensing to ensure data integrity and policy compliance
  • Resolve escalated Helpdesk tickets related to Yardi and integrated systems, providing timely, friendly resolution to internal customers
  • Create and maintain reference guides and training materials; help departments refine procedures and operations related to Yardi and connected software
  • Monitor Yardi system updates and releases, assess impact, recommend changes to affected departments, and lead implementation
  • Stay current on Yardi product offerings and complementary tools, recommending enhancements that support HILLS' business operations
  • Open and manage support cases with Yardi's escalation team, tracking issues to resolution and communicating status to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with IT, Accounting, Property Management, and other departments on special projects and assigned software initiatives

Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on Yardi software administration experience, ideally including integration management
  • Familiarity with property management and/or accounting operations as they relate to Yardi (leasing, AP/AR, GL, reporting, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects independently and in a team setting
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Initiative to solve problems, manage change, and collaborate across departments
  • Working experience with Power BI preferred
Salary Description
$67,000 - $75,000 / year
