As a member of the Software team within Bose Audio Lab, you will play a key role in developing high-performance audio systems supporting Automotive and other Bose business units. You will implement cutting-edge audio processing algorithms on multiple DSP platforms to deliver unique and engaging audio experiences. You will collaborate with research teams to take acoustic concepts from prototype to product implementation, and partner with audio engineers around the world to create best-in-class sound experiences.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and develop music and voice processing algorithms in MATLAB and Simulink.</li><li>Implement these algorithms as embedded software across multiple computing architectures.</li><li>Develop comprehensive unit and system-level tests to verify algorithm functionality.</li><li>Provide techincal leadership and mentorship</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Deep knowledge of signal processing fundamentals, including algorithm design and implementation.</li></ul><ul><li>Deep hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and libraries.</li><li>8&#43; years of experience developing real-time DSP software, including technical leadership responsibilities.</li><li>Strong C/C&#43;&#43; skills and proficiency with one or more scripting languages.</li><li>Hands-on development experience on DSP platforms such as Hexagon, SHARC&#43;, and HiFi.</li><li>Strong software development skills and experience with best practices (e.g., object-oriented design, modularity, extensibility, reusability, and maintainability).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation.</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work independently.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with streaming audio.</li><li>Experience with asymmetrical multi-core SoC processors.</li><li>Automotive industry experience.</li></ul>Tools<ul><li>Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, Emulators etc.</li></ul>Education<ul><li>BS or MS (preferred) in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with a software focus.</li></ul>At Bose, you're inspired to be and do your best and are rewarded for your unique talents!
