Oracle CPQ Architects lead&#160;the&#160;technical&#160;design and&#160;implementation&#160;of&#160;complex, integrated,&#160;enterprise class applications. You will work closely&#160;with&#160;fellow team members&#160;to understand&#160;customer&#160;business requirements and build&#160;and&#160;deploy innovative online ecommerce and CPQ solutions&#160;using the latest web&#160;technologies. You are an expert in multiple technical subject areas and&#160;an invaluable resource to any project.&#160; What you get to do:<ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Serve as a mentor and technical resource to Pierce Washington software engineers in the implementation of their projects.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Lead implementation of the solutions across all layers of the technology stack, including front-end DOM, CPQ application platform, webservices, HTTP protocols, network security and user authentication layers.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Translate business and technical requirements into an overall solution that is robust, scalable, and extensible.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Conduct performance tuning and diagnose/resolve obscure technical compatibility issues.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Proactively anticipate technical risks and design/implement error handling and other mitigation techniques to ensure system stability and security.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Improve best practices in terms of code architecture, unit testing, database, and technical designs available to the Pierce Washington engineering team.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Perform quality assurance on large projects, including areas of estimations, design, architecture, and coding.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Participate in and prototyping broader product designs going across modules and projects.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Suggest and implement third party libraries and software in the product.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Responsible for overall performance and scalability of delivered applications and projects.</li></ul> What you bring to the role:<ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Experience implementing enterprise solutions supporting Quote to Cash business processes, including CPQ and eCommerce implementations.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Experience in cloud-based enterprise application implementations such as Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Deep hands-on integration experience with a variety of tools and technologies, including integration methods and middlewares used in a variety of enterprise applications, CRM, and ERP systems.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Knowledge of the data models used in various enterprise applications relating to quoting, ordering, and CRM.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Understanding of the systems development life cycle, including experience with waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Expertise in the following technologies: jQuery, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Python, XSLT, XPATH, CSS, HTTP, REST, SOAP, JSON and relational database concepts &amp; SQL.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Working knowledge of web application frameworks like React, Vue, Angular a plus.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Seven years of professional experience required; excellent hands-on software development skills.
