As a Technical Solution Owner on Logistics Reply’s LEA Delivery Team, you will help build, customize, and evolve our proprietary logistics platform for enterprise clients—working end-to-end across Java/Groovy back-end services, Apache Camel integrations, and a customized UI. You will collaborate closely with the team to deliver high-quality, tenant-specific solutions while growing confident in the LEA framework and its architecture. <br/><br/><b>Responsibilities</b><br/><li>Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using our custom SCE UI framework (built on YUI 3 and Handlebars.js), interacting with back-end services via REST APIs</li><li>Extend and configure back-end services (SCE BE) using Java (Jakarta EE, CDI), Groovy, and integration frameworks like Apache Camel. Implement business logic with tools such as Camunda DMN decision tables</li><li>Analyze, debug, and reverse-engineer a complex, mature Java codebase to troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and perform refactoring—building deep product knowledge over time</li><li>Work closely with business analysts and project managers to translate complex logistics requirements into robust technical solutions. Ensure customizations are well-designed, documented, and tested</li><li>Manage builds, dependencies, and deployments. Strictly follow Git best practices, including branching models (GitLab Flow) and solid commit strategies</li><li>Support the end-to-end release process for individual tenants—planning, coordinating, and executing deployments to deliver updates and new functionality</li><li>Actively contribute to better team practices through code reviews, modular configuration, improved documentation, and a proactive attitude toward learning and solution evolution</li><br/><br/><b>Minimum Requirements</b><br/><li>Solid experience in back-end development with Java (Jakarta EE, CDI), Groovy, and integration frameworks like Apache Camel</li><li>Strong understanding of the Maven build lifecycle, including compiling the Java codebase and managing complex cross-module dependencies</li><li>Hands-on experience with enterprise middleware such as application servers (e.g., WildFly), message brokers (e.g., ActiveMQ), and event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka)</li><li>Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with non-SPA front-ends. Direct experience with YUI is a plus; otherwise, you must be willing and able to quickly master a legacy framework</li><li>Proven ability to dive into a large existing codebase, understand functionality even with incomplete documentation, and deliver targeted enhancements safely</li><li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo preferred) and expert-level proficiency with Git, including branching models and strategies</li><li>Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning, improving existing systems, and steadily increasing ownership—from understanding “how it works” to shaping “how it should evolve"</li><br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications</b><br/><li>Understanding of logistics, SCM, or WMS concepts to better interpret requirements and navigate the existing codebase</li><li>Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Ingress) is highly desirable</li><li>Experience with BPMN engines, especially Camunda and DMN decision tables</li><li>Familiarity with Apache HTTP Server</li><li>Experience with React, Angular, or <a rel="noopener noreferrer" class="postings-link" href="http://Vue.js">Vue.js</a> is a plus (not the primary technology, but useful for modern UI thinking)</li><br/><br/><div><b>About Reply</b></div><div><br></div><div>Reply specializes in the design and implementation of solutions based on new communication channels and digital media.
