Job Overview: The Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining web-based tools leveraging a variety of technologies under the guidance of a Lead Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will work closely with other engineers on an agile software product delivery team to create new features and functionality, participate in scoping and design sessions, and fix bugs. Their efforts may focus on front-end UI programming and/or back-end development. Front-end work typically involves Angular, Typescript, HTML, and CSS. Back-end development requires development in C# or similar programming language and interaction with existing back-end systems, APIs and databases. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days per week in our Nashua, NH headquarters depending on location. Responsibilities: <ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Engage in all scrum ceremonies</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Mentor associate software engineers</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Independently code user stories as assigned, following established patterns and practices</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ensure unit test coverage is appropriate</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Engage in pair programming</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Participate in code review process</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Be an active participant in software engineering design discussions</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Work with more senior engineers on the team to ensure all work meets the teams' coding standards</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Help mentor more junior engineers and new hires</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Work with product owner to ensure user stories and Jira work items are accurate (status, description, acceptance criteria, etc.)</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Work with SDET(s) to ensure code have appropriate unit and integration test coverage</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Work with UX team, as needed, to ensure design standards are met</li></ul> Requirements: &#160;<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;text-align:justify;">Must be highly motivated, detailed oriented and confident, with excellent time management and organizational skills.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;text-align:justify;">Associates Degree or higher Preferred: Computer Science or related field, relevant up to date certification, or relevant job experience</li><li style="margin-left:8px;text-align:justify;">1+ years of software engineering experience preferred</li><li style="margin-left:8px;text-align:justify;">Knowledge and skill with front-end and/or back-end engineering as follows:<ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li style="margin-left:8px;text-align:justify;">Experience with Angular, Typescript, Nx, and Storybook</li><li style="margin-left:8px;text-align:justify;">Experience with C# and .NET. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;text-align:justify;">Experience with creating and/or consuming RESTful APIs</li></ul></li><li style="margin-left:8px;text-align:justify;">Adept at debugging and troubleshooting</li><li style="margin-left:8px;text-align:justify;">Approach your work with an open mind and willingness to learn</li></ul> Eligibility Requirements &#160;<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">This role is open to US Citizens or permanent residents authorized to work in the United States.
