JOB OVERVIEW
XCEL Engineering is&nbsp;seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Full Stack Developer to support the American Science Cloud / Genesis Project. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings a "can-do" attitude to solving complex technical challenges. You will play a key role in designing and developing modern, intelligent user interfaces powered by emerging Agentic AI systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance front-end applications</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven features into user interfaces</li>
<li>Work within fast-paced, iterative development cycles to deliver production-ready solutions</li>
<li>Implement and optimize workflows leveraging Agentic AI frameworks</li>
<li>Contribute to architecture decisions and front-end best practices</li>
<li>Integrate APIs and backend services using modern development standards</li>
<li>Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement processes</li>
<li>Support deployment and scaling of applications within the American Science Cloud ecosystem</li>
</ul>
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field</li>
<li>5+ years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack development</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in:</li>
<li>Experience working with Agentic AI systems or AI-driven development environments</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with tools such as Claude Code and OpenClaw</li>
<li>Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic project environments</li>

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking a Web Applications Developer to design, build, and maintain internal and client-facing applications. This role is hands-on across the full stack, with a primary focus on delivering reliable, scalable .NET-based web solutions.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000.
