The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for driving delivery, execution, and cross-functional alignment for Resideo’s OnePortal web platform.This role partners closely with the Lead Software Architect (peer role) to bring the platform vision to life through high-quality, predictable delivery. While the Architect defines the technical direction and architecture, the Engineering Supervisor ensures that engineering teams execute effectively against that vision.This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivery excellence, team effectiveness, and strong collaboration with Product and GXD (Global Experience Design).The Engineering Supervisor will also play a key role in fostering accountability and ownership within the engineering team&nbsp;</li></ul>Team Leadership and Engineering Management<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Lead a team of full-stack engineers working across React, AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, and .NET integrations&nbsp;</li><li>Set clear performance expectations and maintain a high bar for engineering quality&nbsp;</li><li>Provide coaching, Legacy Systems<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Oversee development of the React-based micro-frontend architecture platform&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure proper execution of modular frontend development aligned with architectural standards&nbsp;</li><li>Manage ongoing support and enhancements for AngularJS + Ruby on Rails applications&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure system stability while enabling incremental modernization&nbsp;</li><li>Drive consistency in API integration patterns across .NET and Rails services&nbsp;</li></ul>Quality, Testing, and Operational Excellence<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Ensure strong testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing&nbsp;</li><li>Enforce CI/CD best practices and release discipline&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure API validation and testing using tools such as Postman&nbsp;</li><li>Improve observability, debugging, and production support processes&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security&nbsp;</li></ul>AI-First Engineering Enablement<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices across the team&nbsp;</li><li>Encourage use of AI with the Architect to align AI practices with broader engineering strategy &nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;YOU MUST HAVE:<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>8+ years of software engineering experience&nbsp;</li><li>2+ years of engineering leadership or management experience&nbsp;</li><li>Proven hands-on background in React and TypeScript, REST API integration, and Full-stack development practices&nbsp;</li><li>Experience delivering complex web applications at scale while working closely with Product and Design (GXD/UX) teams&nbsp;</li><li>Experience managing Agile delivery (Jira, sprint planning, backlog management)&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in-office three days/week (Tu/Weds/Thurs) in adherence with our required hybrid work environment&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;WE VALUE:<ul><li>Experience in highly rigorous engineering environments, competitive technical programs, or equivalent applied industry experience demonstrating an ability to be analytical and solve
