Full Stack Engineer - REMOTE

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer with an unwavering passion for designing meaningful, easy-to-use applications. Most of the work we do is on large-scale, enterprise-wide systems (both commercial and government)—this project in particular will support the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable applications for a Federal Government client. This is a contract position approximately 2.5 years in duration. Work can be done remotely, but must be done in the United State. The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance is a requirement for this position.

<h3>What the job looks like: </h3>
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with front-end and back-end technologies, a deep understanding of API integration and cloud environments, and familiarity with Federal cybersecurity and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and FISMA is a plus.
The developer will work as part of a cross-functional Agile team, collaborating with UX Designers, DevOps Engineers, and Data Specialists to build modern web applications that support mission-critical Federal programs.

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
</li>
<li>
Implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and middleware components to connect front-end interfaces with backend systems.
</li>
<li>
Develop responsive, accessible user interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
</li>
<li>
Build robust server-side components with <a href="http://node.js">Node.js</a> and .NET Core. Experience with Python (Django/Flask) is helpful.
</li>
<li>
Integrate with cloud services (Azure, or GovCloud) and support CI/CD pipeline automation.
</li>
<li>
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to support containerization, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
</li>
<li>
Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, peer code reviews, and technical documentation efforts.
</li>
<li>
Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability in production environments.
</li>

Required Qualifications

6 years of experience in full-stack software development.

Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PyTest, Selenium).
