<h2><strong>The Opportunity</strong></h2>
<p>The application support engineer specializing in financial concepts, including understanding transactions, holdings, and securities.  You will be responsible for executing daily tasks within the technology support team, specifically focusing on the personal trading aspect of ACA Technology platforms. This includes identifying issues, troubleshooting, offering guidance on corrective measures, and managing system configurations.  This would include maintaining data integrity and providing support to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently. </p>

<h2><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></h2>

<li>Conduct analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of incidents related to brokerage account connections. </li>
<li>Validate system-generated outcomes against clients' expected data. </li>
<li>Manage cases comprehensively, including logging, monitoring, updating, prioritizing, and resolving calls, emails, and indirect inquiries promptly. </li>
<li>Capable of fixes, code enhancements, and optimization, with minimal assistance.  Should know system well enough to train and assist other Support members </li>
<li>Collaborate with developers and product owners to determine corrective actions or feasible workarounds for incident resolution. </li>
<li>Assist clients in establishing connections for brokerage accounts. </li>
<li>Offer recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership, leveraging insights to advocate for both internal and external users. </li>
<li>Demonstrate proficiency in meeting deadlines, delivering exceptional support, and producing progress reports and documentation of client responses. </li>

<p><strong>Preferred Education and Experience </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proficient in analytical skills, adept at resolving issues through troubleshooting. </li>
<li>Familiarity with financial concepts, including understanding transactions, holdings, and securities. </li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a concentration in technology or finance. </li>

<p><strong>Position Purpose</strong></p>

<p>This position is responsible for delivering enhancements and maintenance modifications to the PLEXIS EDI products. This includes a wide range of aspects including requirements review and feedback, functional design review and feedback, technical documentation creation, code changes, communication and coordination with team members, and more.</p>

<p><strong>Essential Functions and Basic Duties</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Experience using AI tools to solve software development problems desired.</li>
	<li>Develop enterprise applications in Microsoft.NET, C#, NServiceBus, MS SQL Server, and SSIS.</li>
	<li>Leverage knowledge of object-oriented, Windows based development and advanced modeling techniques to implement scalable, multi-tiered applications. </li>
	<li>Present demonstrable experience in systems development tools and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, & UML modeling. </li>
	<li>Write SQL code (stored procedures, views, etc.) as part of a project team to implement functional requirements ensuring correctness and optimized performance. </li>
	<li>Conduct Code Reviews and assist Leadership in establishing Standards and Best Practices. </li>
	<li>Analyze and mature existing solutions. </li>
	<li>Solves complex, analytical problems, including troubleshoot code to isolate and correct errors. </li>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>5+ years of experience in the development and implementation of Windows based applications </li>
	<li>Experience with EDI in a business environment transferring operational data into and out of core systems.</li>
	<li>Working knowledge of X12 and 5010 X12 HIPAA Specifications.</li>
	<li>Working knowledge of XML.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with using XML for EDI data movement and data transformation.</li>
	<li>High-level experience in many of the following: .NET, ASP, MS SQL, C#, VB.Net, WCF, WPF, NHibernate, NServiceBus, SSIS, SOA, XML </li>
	<li>Advanced knowledge with large scale development of enterprise systems. </li>
	<li>Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design as well as Object Oriented Design Patterns. </li>
	<li>Advanced knowledge in using best practices to perform software design, leveraging the methodologies of software systems analysis, design, testing. </li>
	<li>Experience creating technical documentation. </li>
	<li>Experience creating UML and implementing Object-oriented design patterns. </li>
	<li>Experience with reverse engineering and refactoring of systems. </li>
	<li>Advanced knowledge of SQL Server tools (Management Studio, Configuration Manager, SQL Profiler, etc.) </li>
