<p>The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software solutions that support business operations and advance AI and digital transformation initiatives. This role will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and develop scalable, reliable applications. This role requires strong programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for creating efficient, user-friendly solutions. This will be an in-office position in Appleton, Wisconsin</p><ul><li>Apply industry best practices and techniques to design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain complex applications based on business requirements.</li><li>Develop new software programs by using approved technologies and coding standards.</li><li>Analyze user needs to recommend and implement software improvements and testing.</li><li>Write programming scripts to enhance functionality of software development life cycle for assigned projects.</li><li>Conduct research on emerging application development software projects in support of procurement and development efforts.</li><li>Partner with development team to ensure consistency and completion of deliverables among team members.</li><li>Responsible for problem solving and applying processes to software solutions.</li><li>Design and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.</li><li>Ensure all software process documentation and validation testing are completed to minimize error.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>Complies with all policies and standards.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or related field and 4 years of relevant experience Required or</li><li>Applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirement.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of full cycle developer methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency in C#/.NET, Python, or Go for backend development.</li><li>Knowledge of React, Angular, or Vue.js for frontend development.</li><li>Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.</li><li>Familiarity with Azure services (App Service, Functions, Service Bus) and Azure Container Registry and image management.</li><li>Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.</li><li>Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.</li><li>Familiarity with SQL databases and data modeling preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of Helm charts, GitOps workflows, and Flux CD preferred.</li><li>Understanding of monitoring, logging, and application observability preferred.</li><li>Experience with data APIs, ETL processes, and real-time data streaming preferred.</li><li>Understanding of construction data formats (BIM, CAD, project management) preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><br>

<p><strong>Summary</strong></p>

<p>Design, develop, and maintain computer systems, programs and integrations. Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating business needs, analyzing requirements, and developing software systems to creatively and effectively solve business problems.</p>

<p><strong>Principle Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p>

<ol>
	<li>Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.</li>
	<li>Programming and performance analysis of new and existing business applications.</li>
	<li>Troubleshoot production related issues and provide timely resolution.</li>
	<li>Contribute to development of new processes and the continuous improvement of existing processes, leading to operational excellence.</li>
	<li>Document changes to business applications according to best practices.</li>
	<li>May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li>
</ol>

<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>

	<li>Ability to effectively utilize (writing, speaking, reading) the English language.</li>
	<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent professional experience (4+ years).</li>
	<li>Experience with one or more backend languages such as Python, Java, C#, Javascript/Node.js, Perl, or similar.</li>
	<li>Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.</li>
	<li>Knowledge of Linux based systems.</li>
	<li>Understanding of software deployment methods, version control, and CI/CD principles.</li>
	<li>Experience with supporting other developers application frameworks.</li>
	<li>Strong problem solving and analytical skills.</li>
	<li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven manufacturing environment with shifting priorities.</li>
	<li>Desire to mentor and teach new skills to other developers.</li>
	<li>Contributes to team success by completing tasks in a timely and reliable manner.</li>
	<li>Ability to understand business processes and fill in requirements gaps through questioning and analysis.</li>
	<li>Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.</li>
	<li>Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime.</li>
	<li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li>
	<li>Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or B2B enterprise environments preferred.</li>
	<li>Experience working with legacy systems and contributing to modernization efforts preferred.</li>
	<li>Experience with Microsoft Dynamics products preferred.</li>
	<li>Experience with data migration and ETL processes preferred.</li>
	<li>Knowledge of DevOps practices using Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure DevOps, or similar preferred.</li>
	<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform preferred.</li>
	<li>Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments preferred.</li>
</ol>

<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>

<ol>
	<li>Normal office environment with potential for hybrid remote work (2-3 days per week)</li>
	<li>Normal manufacturing environment.</li>
	<li>May be some exposure to vibration�s, noise, and chemical odors.</li>
	<li>Occasional visits to manufacturing floor may be required for system integration or troubleshooting.</li>
