10+ years backend or platform engineering; Apache Kafka; Python; Unix/Linux; Snowflake/Oracle/MongoDB; SQL; RESTful or event-based services; financial services experience; Bachelor's degree.

The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software solutions that support business operations and advance AI and digital transformation initiatives. This role will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and develop scalable, reliable applications. This role requires strong programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for creating efficient, user-friendly solutions. This will be an in-office position in Appleton, Wisconsin<ul><li>Apply industry best practices and techniques to design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain complex applications based on business requirements.</li><li>Develop new software programs by using approved technologies and coding standards.</li><li>Analyze user needs to recommend and implement software improvements and testing.</li><li>Write programming scripts to enhance functionality of software development life cycle for assigned projects.</li><li>Conduct research on emerging application development software projects in support of procurement and development efforts.</li><li>Partner with development team to ensure consistency and completion of deliverables among team members.</li><li>Responsible for problem solving and applying processes to software solutions.</li><li>Design and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.</li><li>Ensure all software process documentation and validation testing are completed to minimize error.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>Complies with all policies and standards.</li></ul>
