Job Responsibilities:

<li>Provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. </li>
<li>Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. </li>
<li>Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. </li>
<li>Requires expertise in specialty areas.</li>
<li>Shall perform engineering tasks for back-end design and development efforts including, but not limited to, developing back-end architectures to support current and new system capabilities and integrations, RESTful API development and modification, database management, and data model development and optimization.</li>

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in related field required.</li>
<li>10 years (Senior)/7 years (Mid) of experience in the functional area. A Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.</li>
<li>10 years (Senior)/7 years (Mid) of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply several tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices and containers.</li>
<li>5 years (Senior)/3 years (Mid) of experience performing back-end web design and development.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in relational databases, RESTful API development and communication, and system integrations for Mid-level or 10 years for Senior-level.</li>
<li>5 years of experience in Python and PostgreSQL for Senior-level.</li>
<li>5 years (Senior)/3 years (Mid) of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).</li>
<li>5 years (Senior)/3 years (Mid) of experience testing web-based applications.</li>
<li>5 years of experience leading (Senior) or 3 years participating (Mid) in software development programs or projects.</li>
<li>Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.</li>
<li>3 years of experience with the following: AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.</li>
<li>5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following: Postgress,&nbsp;RDS,&nbsp;Exodus,&nbsp;Python,&nbsp;Luna,&nbsp;Java,&nbsp;Docker,&nbsp;OpenJDK,&nbsp;Ansible,&nbsp;Packer,&nbsp;Maven,&nbsp;Kubernetes,&nbsp;Red Hat</li>
