Job Summary
The batch makers are responsible for mixing the raw chemical materials to create our products.
Duties & Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Stages and manually charges necessary raw materials into mixing container.</li>
<li>Follows batch work instructions to manufacture quality products.</li>
<li>Monitors and controls mixing equipment and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions.</li>
<li>Adjust a batch under QC guidance until it is approved.</li>
<li>Follows manufacturing schedule and works with Supervisor regarding any potential improvements or concerns.</li>
<li>Cleanup work area to company standards.</li>
<li>Ensure work area is safe, clean, and free of recognizable hazards, communicate all spills or other hazards immediately to floor either supervisor or safety.</li>
<li>Comply to all PPE standards.</li>
</ul>
Required Skills
<ul>
<li>Basic math skills.</li>
<li>Operate high-speed dispersers and other handling equipment.</li>
<li>Able to read and comprehend English.</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.</li>
<li>Read digital scales.</li>

Pay: This position has an hourly rate and the actual hourly rate may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location
Bonus Pay: Meridian is actively participating in a productivity incentive plan for 2025. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 a year, with payments distributed quarterly throughout the year.

As the Reactor Room Operator (Controls Room Specialist/Operator) to join our onsite production team at our Delaware, OH plant. This role is critical to the safe and efficient operation of our resin production systems. The Controls Operator will manage batch processes across three reactor systems using advanced HMI interfaces and PLC systems. Summary
Produces required wax batches in a timely, efficient and accurate manner and maintains accurate production and inventory records.
 
Role and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Required to follow batch sheets and standard formulas to accurately identify and measure amounts and weights of components for each job when required, or use prepared “kit” of materials ready for mixing. Complete all necessary paperwork thoroughly and accurately to meet company and customer SOP’s.</li>
