Primary Job Function
This position functions in a team base environment. This role involves working in conjunction with production and packaging operations at the Plant.Job Status:<ul type="disc"><li>Full-Time</li><li>Non-Exempt</li><li>Reports to: Production Shift Foreman</li></ul>Role Responsibilities:<ul type="disc"><li>Operate production equipment and systems in accordance with company procedures.</li><li>Perform troubleshooting, minimal maintenance, and adjustment functions under direct supervision.</li><li>Supervise assigned labor in the assigned area of production.</li><li>Verify raw material identification and package weights before use.</li><li>Ensure accuracy in ingredients and weights for staged batches.</li><li>Process batches according to manufacturing instructions.</li><li>Record complete and accurate data on quality records.</li><li>Assist with other production and packaging operations as required.</li></ul>Education:<ul type="disc"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.</li></ul>Experience / Skills / Abilities:<ul type="disc"><li>Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.</li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.</li><li>Basic math and communication skills as they relate to assigned tasks.</li><li>Ability to supervise assigned labor effectively.</li><li>Working knowledge of safety policies, waste disposal, and quality systems.</li><li>Ability to operate equipment and tools used in production.</li><li>Capable of working in confined spaces.</li></ul>Job Expectations / Working Conditions:<ul type="disc"><li>Regularly required to move throughout a production building and plant site.</li><li>Regularly required to descend/ascend stairs.</li><li>Regularly required to lift and/or move objects weighing 5-50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs.</li><li>Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing required.</li><li>Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul>&nbsp; </div></div>
