Position Title: DevSecOps and Cloud Integration Engineer, SeniorLocation: Hill AFB, UtahClearance: ***Active Secret clearance required***Salary: $170,000.00 + Position Summary:Command Cyber Solutions seeks a full-time Senior DevSecOps and Integration Engineer - Cloud Applications to join our IT team at Hill AFB. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale applications with a strong emphasis on building CI/CD pipelines, implementing DevSecOps processes, and driving system integration in the AWS cloud. Leveraging expertise in .NET, Python, C#, C++, graphic design, and integration technologies (e.g., APIs, middleware), the candidate will ensure secure, scalable, and interoperable applications, seamless system connectivity, and compliance with DoD standards. The role embodies our team culture of Passion, Trust, and Empathy. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and maintain object-oriented applications using .NET, Python, C#, and C++. This includes building a customer-facing landing page and creating user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces, incorporating graphic design principles to align with and promote the HEDC's mission and value. Applications will need to interface effectively with the landing page. </li><li>Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in AWS using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline to streamline development, testing, deployment, and system integration.  </li><li>Implement DevSecOps processes, embedding security practices (e.g., STIG compliance, OWASP) into the software development lifecycle in AWS environments.  </li><li>Develop and manage API-driven integrations and middleware solutions to ensure seamless interoperability between applications, databases, and cloud services (e.g., AWS Lambda, ECS, EKS).  </li><li>Create visually appealing application interfaces using graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma) to enhance the HEDCs marketing and landing page material.   </li><li>Conduct requirements analysis, troubleshoot, and test software, databases, and integrations, ensuring alignment with DoD compliance and security standards.  </li><li>Utilize Jira and Confluence to contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and integration.  </li><li>Leverage AWS services and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) to support cloud-native application development and system integration.  </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, including DevOps, security, and compliance, to prioritize requirements, integrate systems, and enhance reliability.  </li><li>Apply and manage software updates, patches, and security fixes, ensuring compliance with DoD and regulatory requirements.  </li><li>Maintain detailed documentation for CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps workflows, integration architectures, and application designs to support transparency and repeatability.  </li></ul>Education, Certification & Experience:Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).   </li></ul>Certifications:<ul><li>Active Secret Clearance (Required)</li><li>CompTIA Security+ Certification (Required)</li><li>AWS Certified Developer – Associate (Preferred)</li><li>Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (Preferred)  </li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 7 years of experience in application development, with a focus on .NET, Python, C#, and C++ for large-scale, integrated applications. </li><li>Experience with AWS-specific DevSecOps tools (e.g., AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Security Hub) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation (Preferred)</li><li>Knowledge of additional integration technologies (e.g., GraphQL, Kafka) to support complex system connectivity (Preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Confluence) for advanced UI/UX development (Preferred)</li><li>Experience with DoD security standards, including STIG compliance and patch management in AWS.
