<p data-end="784" data-start="618">Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented <strong data-end="730" data-start="701">Medical Coding Specialist</strong> to join our Health Information Management (HIM) team.</p>

<p data-end="1313" data-start="786">This role is responsible for reviewing and accurately coding medical records utilizing <strong data-end="920" data-start="873">ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding conventions</strong> for both hospital (Critical Access Hospital) and clinic (Rural Health Clinic) services. Responsibilities include reviewing patient documentation, extracting relevant clinical information, assigning accurate diagnosis and procedure codes, supporting appropriate reimbursement, and ensuring compliance with coding regulations and documentation standards.</p>
