The primary function of the Special Education LEA Supervisor is to ensure that teachers, especially special education teachers and regular education teachers who co-teach are provided with consistent stellar professional development that transforms teaching and learning. The Supervisor will monitor, coach, assess, and evaluate the performance of special education teachers and provide high-quality, effective feedback in accordance with the Arkansas Department of Education requirements as well as federal and state regulations.&nbsp; Contract renewal contingent of VIB funding.
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Valid Arkansas elementary and secondary teaching license with district-level administration (EC-12) certification (required)</li>
<li>Minimum of three (3) years of STEM-related administrative experience&nbsp;</li>
<li>Earned doctorate degree from an accredited university (preferred)&nbsp;</li>
<li>Demonstrated excellence in scholarship and research&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience administering Dynamic Learning Maps Assessment</li>
<li>Demonstrates knowledge of effective instructional practices, specifically relative to&nbsp; the integration and embedding of STEM concepts and practices within the special education curriculum</li>
