As a Coder, you will ensure precise communication with insurance companies so that services are documented correctly and payments are processed efficiently. Every day you will accurately translate patients’ medical records into standardized codes for diagnoses and treatments. Using your expertise and training, you will ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. To be successful in this role, you must combine accuracy and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of coding standards and healthcare regulations. Clear communication with providers and staff, along with efficient management of records, ensures claims are processed correctly and on time. <ul><li>Accurately abstracts information from the service documentation, assigns appropriate CPT, ICD-9/10, and HCPCS codes into the appropriate billing systems, ensuring compliance with</li><li>established guidelines.</li><li>Communicates professionally with providers, practice management, and other stake holders either verbally or in writing.</li><li>Responsible for working encounters in the coding work queue or task lists in a timely manner.</li><li>Meets or exceeds organizational coding production and quality standards.</li><li>Understands and applies regulatory changes and stays current with coding updates, for example NCCI and MUE edits.</li></ul>

Coder II

Two years physician coding experience; HS or GED; CCS, CCS-PC, or CPC certification; EHR experience preferred.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Billing and Coding Professional to join our Neurovascular Neurosurgery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly specialized and dynamic clinical environment, supporting advanced neurosurgical care while contributing to the financial and operational success of the practice.&nbsp; The ideal candidate&nbsp;must be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.&nbsp; A&nbsp;medical coding certification&nbsp;and experience in clinic billing is preferred.&nbsp; Specialty-specific coding training will be provided, as well as training on the Electronic Health Record system.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Key Responsibilities:

	<li style="margin-bottom:11px">Perform accurate medical coding and billing for neurovascular neurosurgery services</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ensure timely submission and follow-up of claims</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:11px">Review documentation to support appropriate code assignment and compliance</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:11px">Collaborate closely with physicians, clinic managers, nurses, and clerical staff</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:11px">Assist with denial management and resolution</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom:11px">Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and payer requirements</li>
