<h3>What You’ll Do</h3>

Review outpatient and/or inpatient records to ensure accuracy and completeness
</li>
<li>
Assign appropriate ICD-10 diagnosis and CPT procedure codes following current standards
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to resolve coding questions
</li>
<li>
Enter coding data into encoder and hospital information systems accurately and efficiently
</li>
</ul>
 
<h3>What We’re Looking For</h3>
<ul>
<li>
At least 1 year of relevant outpatient ICD-10 and CPT coding experience or recent graduates of a coding/billing program (we’re willing to train the right candidate)
</li>
<li>
Knowledge of E/M levels, injection and infusions and outpatient surgery coding is a plus
</li>
<li>
CCA or CCS credentialed candidates are preferred, but not required
</li>
<li>
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to teamwork
</li>
<li>
High school diploma or equivalent required
</li>
<li>
Ability to work on-site for at least the first six months, with potential for occasional remote work thereafter depending on skill level
</li>

Topics will include, and are not limited to: technology (coding, robotics, drones, etc.), biological sciences, environmental sciences, and engineering. Instructors introduce students to STEM concepts in a safe, supportive, and interactive environment. Responsibilities include leading activities from the curriculum, supervising participants, promoting student engagement, and creating a positive learning experience.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>Teaching experience (kids/teens) </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to deliver engaging and practical course content from a provided curriculum</li><li>Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping others achieve personal growth and enrichment</li><li>Knowledge of technology (coding, robotics, drones, etc.), biological sciences, environmental sciences, and/or an area of engineering</li></ul>This position will have opportunities for teaching assignments throughout the year.MCC holds camps and classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area, including Fremont and Blair.
