As a Coder, you will ensure precise communication with insurance companies so that services are documented correctly and payments are processed efficiently. Every day you will accurately translate patients’ medical records into standardized codes for diagnoses and treatments. Using your expertise and training, you will ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. To be successful in this role, you must combine accuracy and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of coding standards and healthcare regulations. Two years physician coding experience; HS or GED; CCS, CCS-PC, or CPC certification; EHR experience preferred.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Billing and Coding Professional to join our Neurovascular Neurosurgery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly specialized and dynamic clinical environment, supporting advanced neurosurgical care while contributing to the financial and operational success of the practice.&nbsp; The ideal candidate&nbsp;must be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.&nbsp; A&nbsp;medical coding certification&nbsp;and experience in clinic billing is preferred.&nbsp; Specialty-specific coding training will be provided, as well as training on the Electronic Health Record system.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced medical practice biller/coder (certified or non-certified). The ideal candidate will have previous experience coding and/or billing office visits and procedures in cardiology. Excellent communication skills are a must, as the coder will work closely with the physicians, managers, nurses and clerical staff as an integral part of the team. Departmental Orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process, as well as training on our enterprise-wide practice management system. You will be required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
