This position provides quality improvement monitoring and review of coding activities. This position also serves as a subject matter expert on coding processes, providing instruction and training to junior level staff members. Responsibilities<li>Serves as coding liaison and provides education to other departments, providers and other customers. Represents Enterprise Coding on project teams and in meetings as needed.</li><li>Assists in coder development and growth through training and conducting concurrent and retrospective audits of coders.</li><li>Using critical thinking skills, analyzes and resolves coding related billing edits and denials.</li><li>Effectively collaborates with leadership and customers (Revenue Cycle Management, Hospital Departments, and other departments) as appropriate to resolve edits.
