This position ensures the cost effective and efficient operation of gas processing and treating units and associated equipment within gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. <div>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:</div><div><ul><li>Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment and systems at plant facilities which includes, but is not limited to: cryogenic plants, hydrocarbon fractionation units, process controls and measurement, LNG facilities, engines and compressors, pumps, pump stations, pressure relief systems, instrument air systems, dehydrators, fuel systems, treating, emergency shutdown systems, reciprocating compressors, gas fired heaters, process pumps, amine treating systems, inlet gas receivers and NGL storage and transfer facilities in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with the Partnership’s procedures and regulatory requirements</li><li>Seek to optimize processing through facility by maintaining proper product specifications</li><li>Respond to alarms and problems within the plant and takes corrective measures </li><li>Monitor and control pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and levels to efficiently achieve desired operating results and ensure proper operation of equipment under current process conditions such as Start/Stop/Rate adjustment of equipment </li><li>Demonstrated understanding in the maintenance and compliance of plant operations in alignment with partnership and environmental standards (PSM-SPCC-TNRCC) including the creation and maintenance of required reporting and readings</li><li>Maintain and adhere to required trainings, policies, and procedures</li><li>Where applicable, the selected candidate will be required to pass all PSM-required operator certifications</li><li>Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives</li><li>Communicate with partnership control centers, business groups, and other operating groups as necessary     </li><li>Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties</li><li>May perform lab tests for quality assurance, diagnose mechanical problems, complete minor repairs as needed, assist other technical staff and any other tasks as assigned or required</li><li>May monitor field compressor status through the use of SCADA</li><li>Comply with partnership safety policies and procedures</li><li>Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO)</li></ul></div>Summary:<div>This  position maintains liquid meters, pneumatic/hydraulic composite samplers, flow computers, valves and valve operators, piston type provers, sphere type provers, and performs calibrations and inspections of all instrumentation related to quality and quantity determination in a manner to meet operational needs in compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements.<div><div> </div><div>Essential duties and responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below: <ul><li>Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures.</li><li>Perform density verifications using a Pycnometer and/or Hydrometer.</li><li>Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination.</li><li>Witness meter performance verifications as performed by third party contractors, as needed.</li><li>Maintain and operate custody transfer measurement facilities including tank gauging in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures.</li><li>Maintain, operate, troubleshoot and repair measurement equipment, including; meters, samplers, flow computers and other peripheral measurement-related devices.</li><li>Install instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.</li><li>Understand system gain/loss processes, ticket writing, etc.</li><li>Collect product quality samples for Crude or NGL liquids, in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines.</li><li>Actively participate in partnership safety program and initiatives.</li></ul>  </div></div></div>
