Acuity is seeking a Commercial Processor to look up, retrieve, review, interpret, input, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of information in a computer system for all commercial lines of insurance across all states of operation. This role includes validating and reconciling system-populated data with source documents, completing required updates in accordance with established guidelines and procedures, and applying critical thinking, interpretation, and sound decision-making related to data and company standards. The position also involves answering a moderate volume of incoming call center calls, completing manual premium calculations, and performing work through an automated queue and electronic document storage and retrieval systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Receive Commercial Lines new business quotes and start them in the CL Front End System. Review, confirm and input data as requested. (30%)</li>
<li>Receive Commercial Lines new business applications/uploads/quote transfers and complete data capture. (5%)  </li>
<li>Process Commercial Lines renewals in the CL Front End System, applying renewal changes and pricing accounts. This includes completing any manual rating or experience rating applicable. Issue renewals within defined authority guidelines. (24%)</li>
<li>Process policy change, cancellation and reinstatement requests from agents, insureds, and underwriters. Enter all necessary policy information through the Front End or Manual Statistical System. Issue changes within defined authority guidelines. (42%) </li>
<li>Perform searches via the Internet or on-line manuals for data elements including but not limited to: Risk Meter, Work Comp Experience Mods, D&B Rating, Cost Price New, Gross Vehicle Weight, Specific Property Rates, Boeckh Valuation, Credit Reports, Proxix.</li>
<li>Communicate with the Commercial Lines and Field underwriters through the Front-End System, telephone, fax, and e-mail to ensure accurate processing of work.</li>
<li>Process motor vehicle filings both manually and online. (1%)</li>
<li>Handle telephone policy change requests from agents and insureds. Input information received over the telephone into the CL Front End System. Construct and ask questions of the caller to obtain the necessary policy information. Inform agents of contacts from insureds. (2%) </li>
<li>Provide Switchboard coverage. Answer incoming calls and direct them to appropriate individuals/areas.</li>
<li>Code and process premium audits through the CL Front End System and the Manual Statistical System. (1%) </li>
<li>Complete various rating worksheets and policy change declarations.</li>
<li>Process year end reporting forms, manual cancellations, COP Supermarket accounts and composite rating transactions.</li>
<li>Near perfect attendance.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
EDUCATION:
High School diploma. Post-secondary education helpful.
EXPERIENCE:
Prior data entry and customer service skills helpful.

Position Purpose
Upholds the Credit Union’s mission of “We do the right thing one member, one employee, and one experience at a time to strengthen the communities we serve” by assisting Dealers by telephone or email by quickly reviewing and processing loan information. Receives and processes their transactions, requests, and concerns with an enthusiastic quality service and member advocacy orientation. Also assists Member Service Reps in non-member contact responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assists dealers by telephone and via email by operating an on-line computer terminal to process their requests.</li>
<li>Books Dealer Contracts. Upon receiving the contract, inputs the final information from the dealer, funds and uploads the loan to DNA. Disburses contract funds and processes dealer fee.</li>
<li>Talks with dealers about their concerns, including, but not limited to problems with contracts, documentation, and vehicle title questions.</li>
<li>Performs miscellaneous duties including but not limited to processing Loan Payoffs, Lien Perfections, Vehicle Titling & Registration, Welcome Letters, and Missing Documentation.</li>
<li>Opens accounts for new members obtained through Indirect Loans.</li>
<li>Scans new dealer loans into Velocity and files.</li>
<li>Assists other Branches when information is needed from loan files.</li>
<li>May train new employees.</li>
<li>Prepares paid loan information including, but not limited to, sending the proper documentation to the member and dealers, and assisting members and other financial institutions with pay-off requests.</li>
<li>Performs quality review audits to ensure accuracy of the indirect loans</li>
</ul>
Necessary Experience and Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed and sometimes technical instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals as normally acquired through completion of a high school education.</li>
<li>Ability to operate an on-line computer terminal (including a good working knowledge of the core computer system, Velocity, DNA, Dealertrack, RouteOne, Allied CenterPoint, email, and internet), fax machine and adding machine normally acquired through a basic course or one to three months of on-the-job experience.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of the products, services, and procedures needed to process transactions as normally acquired through three to six months of on-the-job experience, at least one of which is with the Credit Union.</li>
<li>Ability to closely examine documentation. Requires a high degree of accuracy.</li>
<li>Analytical ability necessary to research and resolve loan questions.</li>
<li>Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of employees in stressful situations. Requires communication/listening skills necessary to effectively obtain necessary information to make lending decisions.</li>
<li>Ability to stay in one place for extended periods of time, handle a fast-paced working atmosphere, and to transport objects weighing between five and twenty pounds for one percent of work time.</li>
