Department Summary
CAAAM is the Center for Agile and Adaptive Additive Manufacturing. CAAAM looks at additive manufacturing, which includes materials, science, cybersecurity, data analytics, logistics, and supply chain. Established in 2019 by the Texas State Legislature with $10 million in funding and recently renewed through 2025, CAAAM conducts next-generation research, education, and workforce training in additive manufacturing. CAAAM's Institute for Transformative Education in Additive Manufacturing-or ITEAM-provides courses, seminars, workshops, symposia, in-lab training sessions, and summer camps for industry and community colleges. UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba.




Position Overview
UNT's Center for Agile and Adaptive Additive Manufacturing (CAAAM) is searching for a postdoctoral scientist to work with existing experimental setups and develop methods for in-situ diagnostic and monitoring additive manufacturing (AM) processes toward the 3D printing of metal alloys and ceramics. The successful candidate will use optical and acoustic imaging and spectroscopic tools to monitor AM processing of metal alloy and ceramic powders using direct energy deposition and powder bed laser sintering. Familiarity with one or more material diagnostic techniques such as infrared imaging and spectroscopy, thermal imaging, Raman spectroscopy for metals and ceramics, plasma emission spectroscopy, non-destructive ultrasonic spectroscopy and testing of materials, transient laser spectroscopy as well as other diagnostic methods will be preferred. The candidate will assist in advancing necessary instrumentation for data collection and analysis, integrating process diagnostics with closed-loop process control of AM platforms, and work with fellow researchers to implement machine learning algorithms based on in-situ data collection and analysis.




Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics or closely related field.




Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics or closely related field and hands on experience with infrared imaging, spectroscopic and/or acoustic diagnostic methods and process control instrumentation.

OVERVIEW:

The purpose of this position is to:

Responsible for management of all operational functions and ensuring compliance with all bank policies, procedures and regulations.&nbsp; Ensure controls are in place to minimize and prevent risk, liability and loss.&nbsp; Monitor branch efficiencies and ensure branch is performing to Management&rsquo;s expectations.

Responsible for management and development of branch staff.&nbsp; Including hiring, training, coaching (One on Ones), scheduling, supervision, counseling, evaluations, pay reviews and terminations.

Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to customers.&nbsp; Assist customers with their banking needs, answer any questions and resolve any problem situations in a quick, courteous and friendly manner, taking advantage of any sales or referral opportunities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for motivation of employees to make sales, cross-sales and referrals of bank products and services to new and existing customers, or otherwise participate in any other sales or marketing campaigns or initiatives to meet individual and branch goals, and overall bank goals and objectives and documentation of all activity in CRM.

Responsible for performing all teller and new account functions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.

Maintain the knowledge and job skills required to open, close, service and support all accounts, products and services offered by PointBank.

Maintain cash levels for the branch.&nbsp; Balance branch cash.&nbsp; Order/sell cash to/from Fed for the branch.

Responsible for all branch cash counts and audits.

Educate customers regarding identity fraud, phishing scams, etc., and that the bank will never ask for confidential information via text, email, etc.

Monitor, review and complete all CTRs for the branch daily. Ensure submitted by deadline.

Balance vault.&nbsp; Responsible for vault transactions between vault and tellers.

Order branch supplies.

Assist with the professional appearance of the inside and outside of the Branch.&nbsp; Report to the Facilities Manager of any maintenance, landscaping, or housekeeping needs.

Promote a positive image for PointBank in the community.

Attend all meetings and complete all training required to ensure regulatory compliance.

Comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations and guidance associated with the performance of your job function.
