As a Controls Safety Engineer, you will be part of the Safety System Software team within Global Instrumentation and Control. You will develop software applications for Nuclear Safety Instrumentation and Control systems, using the Westinghouse Common Q Platform.
 
You will report to the Manager, I&amp;C Safety Software and this role will be hybrid in Warrendale, PA.
 
<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop, modify, and maintain application software for I&amp;C Safety System products.</li>
<li>Develop requirements and design documentation for implemented software.</li>
<li>Perform documentation and code reviews for implemented software.</li>
<li>Work with several external groups to support the testing and certification of the Safety System Software.</li>
<li>Evaluate, troubleshoot, and address reported software issues (internal/external).</li>
<li>Complete assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.</li>
<li>Work with a mentor and colleagues to further develop skillset within the team.</li>
