Job Summary:
We welcome rising college sophomores, juniors, and seniors to apply to be a summer intern at our Green Bay Office. Our interns are embedded into our teams and get the opportunity to work on real projects under the supervision and education of our experienced engineers.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Work with experienced engineers to develop skills and knowledge.</li>
<li>Encouraged to solve engineering problems using their education.</li>
<li>Lay out and assemble electrical control panels to meet project needs.</li>
<li>Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plan, construction schedules, studies, permits, and designs for assigned projects.</li>
<li>Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.</li>
<li>Familiarize themselves with state-of-the-art design and various state and local regulations.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Qualifications and Experience:

<li>Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics</li>

<h2>POSITION SUMMARY</h2>We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. This intern will support our U.S. Energy division with electrical engineering design services and other related electrical development support. U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located in Appleton, WI and will start at 1025 West Navitus Dr, Appleton, WI 54913. Electrical Engineering Intern - U.S. Energy

Currently pursuing Electrical, Controls, or Power and Energy Engineering; junior or senior; able to work full-time over summer; basic AutoCAD; PLC/HMI knowledge; willing to travel to job sites.

We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support our Maintenance and Engineering teams in improving plant safety, reliability, and efficiency. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and offers exposure to real-world engineering projects, preventative maintenance programs, and safety systems. The intern will gain valuable experience working alongside engineers, maintenance leaders, and production teams while contributing to meaningful plant improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist in developing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for manufacturing equipment.</li>
<li>Support the development and documentation of Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures.</li>
<li>Work with project engineers to support ongoing plant improvement and equipment projects.</li>
<li>Assist in reviewing equipment documentation and updating standard work instructions.</li>
<li>Participate in plant walkthroughs to identify safety and reliability improvements.</li>
<li>Help organize maintenance documentation and equipment records.</li>
<li>Support data collection and analysis related to equipment performance and maintenance activities.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering teams on assigned projects.</li>
