An AAP participant will learn the skills necessary to act as an Automation specialist through a combination of formal classroom training and on-the-job training. Participants will specifically learn how to perform automation functions as it pertains to high-speed bottling equipment and utilities.Essential FunctionsThe AAP participant will complete the below learning objectives of the training program:<ul><li>Shadow and learn from PLC Sr. Maintenance Technicians, Automation Engineers groups, Automation Specialist groups</li><li>Assist with automation projects</li><li>Assist with downed equipment repair during the production shift as needed</li><li>Assist with crisis downtime situations</li><li>Research and documentation using a computer</li></ul><ul><li>Attend OEM trainings and apply learnings upon returning to the plant (at plant’s discretion)</li><li>Perform on-demand maintenance and repair of equipment in the manufacturing facility</li><li>Complete daily responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor</li><li>Explain and demonstrate accomplishment of the learning objectives for each learning activity in both theory and practice</li></ul><ul><li>Work safely &amp; follow the written procedures to do so</li><li>Follow &amp; respect company rules, staff and their peers</li></ul><ul><li>Be at work on time based on their assigned schedule</li></ul>*Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
