ASRC Federal Advanced Research (AFAR) supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Second Level Engineering (SLE) Groups who serve as the premiere Subject Matter Experts for NAS systems and equipment.&nbsp; Join our growing team as a Computer Scientist Level 3 in support of the SLE Automation and Tools Team.

Responsibilities:

<li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Assignments may include but are not limited to: computer software problem identification, problem analysis, solution determination; requirements gathering; computer software solution design, development, integration, and testing; collecting, recording, and analyzing data/information; writing technical/management reports; performing computer software investigation and inspection activities; recommending improvements to the design or operation of systems, equipment, or processes; and providing SME technical support for new system acquisition efforts. </li>
<li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under limited direction.</li>

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. All applicants must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.

Education/Experience:

<li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Experience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment is highly desirable.</li>
