Duties & Responsibilities:

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer (Mid-Level) to support our U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Booking System (IBS) program.This role focuses on functional, system, and integration testing of applications built using Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot).

Duties & Responsibilities:
<h1>Functional & System Testing</h1><ul><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Perform functional, integration, and regression testing</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Validate system behavior against requirements</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Track defects using Jira</li></ul><h1>Application & API Testing</h1><ul><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Test Angular web applications and Java/Spring Boot APIs</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Perform API testing (Postman or similar)</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Validate data accuracy and outputs</li></ul><h1>Collaboration & Support</h1><ul><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Work with developers to resolve defects</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Support UAT and stakeholder validation</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Assist with release validation</li></ul><h1>DevSecOps & Quality Integration</h1><ul><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Support testing within CI/CD pipelines</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Validate builds during deployments</li><li style="margin-left: .25in;">Improve testing processes</li></ul>
