Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance of Lewisville, TX and able to consistently meet this expectation. Summary of PositionThis is the perfect place for junior level engineers to start out and grow their full stack web development skillset. Engineers in this role will focus on building tools, standards, and solutions that improve developer productivity and support efficient software delivery. The team works closely with development, DevOps, and senior engineering partners to strengthen CI/CD practices, Kubernetes development patterns, documentation, and secure development standards across the broader engineering community.Essential Duties and Responsibilities<div><ul><li>Work with a nimble, passionate team, collaborating closely with development, support, DevOps, and senior engineering teams.  </li><li>Develop new tools, utilities, and solutions that directly or indirectly improve developer efficiency throughout the SDLC process.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Work with DevOps engineers to understand, build, and support CI/CD and Kubernetes development patterns.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain and create development standards, technical documentation, and repeatable processes, while helping formulate ways to drive and enforce adoption.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaborate with senior engineers to promote enterprise standards and secure development practices across the broader development community.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Apply strong analytical and investigative skills to identify technical challenges, evaluate root causes, and determine effective solutions.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrate ownership and engagement in the product, mission, and overall success of the team </li></ul></div>                                                          Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoRequired Qualifications<div><ul><li>Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering)</li><li>Demonstrated experience delivering one or more significant full‑stack web development projects completed independently (outside of academic coursework) ​</li><li>At least 1 year of professional experience developing backend services using Java </li><li>At least 1 year of hands‑on experience developing and deploying Kubernetes‑based applications, using modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) </li></ul></div><div><div></div></div>Preferred Qualifications <div><ul><li>Experience working in a startup environment, including internships or early‑stage companies </li><li>Experience using Git in a collaborative, team‑based development environment (e.g., pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies) </li></ul></div>The base salary range for this position is $80,000- $95,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here <a href="https://s3.amazonaws.com/images.teladoc.com/aem_assets/documents/Teladoc-Health-2026-BAAG-Recruiting.pdf" target="_blank">Teladoc Health Benefits 2026</a>. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time.
