The DevOps Engineer is responsible for maintaining our application infrastructure, creating, supporting and testing our CI/CD pipeline, and working to optimize our production environment. Additional responsibilities may include application support, internal customer interaction, audit reporting and more.

Duties and Responsibilities

	<li>Oversees and performs deployments made to production system</li>
	<li>Manages internal communication for deployed application changes</li>
	<li>Maintains production applications on servers</li>
	<li>Implements deployment automation for CI/CD pipeline</li>
	<li>Optimization and organization of production system environment</li>
	<li>Performs maintenance of systems alongside Development and IT</li>
	<li>Monitors for system issues for proactive correction</li>
	<li>Performs application support for internally used services</li>
	<li>Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow</li>
	<li>Participates in projects/tasks as instructed by the CIO, or Director of Software Development</li>

This role will be a key player in migrating a legacy Microsoft Access–based solution to a modern, scalable Mendix low-code platform and further develop front-end tools connecting to our Snowflake Data to provide accurate, on-time data to our internal customers.
