As a Software Development Engineer Intern working in Belvidere, IL, you will be responsible for completing small coding projects under the mentorship of a Software Engineer. Projects will help develop, maintain, or test capabilities of Test and Measurement instruments and will be chosen at the time of the internship.
Key Responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Complete small projects under the mentorship of a SW Engineer</li>
<li>Get training on how to use Anritsu software and hardware. Both manually and automated systems.</li>
<li>Test software before it gets delivered to customer</li>
<li>Create documentation / user guides</li>
<li>Write test scripts (usually python)</li>
<li>Participate in team meetings</li>
<li>This position will be reporting to the Sr. Manager, Field Applications Engineering.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Working toward a BS/MS Computer Science/Computer Engineering</li>
<li>Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational skills</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Understanding of OOAD/OOP principles</li>
<li>Basic understanding and comfortable with a programming language like python, java, C++</li>
</ul>
